CHARLES FARRUGGIA"s heritage is Sicilian and Lakota, and he grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota. His university experience focused on literature, theater, and psychology. He managed the Community Theater in Grand Junction, Colorado for many years. His career as an actor and singer includes lead roles in many musicals. He has written and produced his own plays, as well as two books and much poetry, and most recently the script to HOME SWEET HOME. He brings his considerable talents as an actor, singer, and writer to the stage in HOME SWEET HOME.
KATHRYN MIENTKA FARRUGGIA has performed internationally to critical acclaim as the pianist in the Mientka Duo, with her late husband, cellist Tyme Mientka. The Duo gave concerts in Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, and the USA, where they were featured nationally on radio and television. She founded and directed the Western Slope Concert Series for 20 years and has performed extensively as a solo pianist in western USA.
