My great-grandfather, Charles (Chatka) Cuny is my spirit guide and is ever present, speaking to me daily. His influence is my life is powerful and always welcome. Red Cloud was a shaman, holy man mystic, and a great leader of men. In my family his gifts have been handed down to many. Crazy Horse, my distant cousin, also shared these gifts. My mother and father were both Catholic and I was raised in a devoutly religious home. I was also exposed to the ancient beliefs of my Native American ancestry. The sacred truth is that we all walk the good road together and our differences in beliefs only add loving wisdom to our lives.
